The Pea Under My Mattress

I haven't been sleeping well lately.

My children have been sick.

It doesn't seem to matter how old they are, when one or both gets sick, I don't sleep well.

I worry.

I've been doing this for over 11 years.

Right now it's my Remy who's sick.

And when he's sick and miserable...the whole house feels it.

But, the worry is not contained to just him.

I lie awake at night trying to figure out what gifts to get which family members...

or how we can work out visiting everyone in the time we have off...

or where I need to plant my money tree...
