Office Mystery Photos

I took my camera to work...
and took photos around the office.

Can you guess what they are?

Some of bizarre...

and some obvious...or are they?!

Give me your best guess!!

It's fun to try!!

And fun to read what everyone else guesses!!!

Creative answers that make me laugh get bonus points!!

May the Force be...in your cubicle!

Our boss told us to express ourselves.
To embrace our creativity.
To let loose and decorate our cubicles.

So I did.

I chose a colorful and floral theme...
uplifting and cheery.

Some might call it tacky or gaudy.
But it's been fun!

I move to a new cubicle soon, a managerial cubicle,
and I'm thinking I will decorate with a new theme.

I'm just not sure what yet.

I have a photo of my boys up there...
and Annie.

Do you see the little green alien?

And then I was given permission to put up a board in the break room for
Magnetic Poetry.

So further express office creativity and individuality.

To let loose our inner freak flags and fly them high.
hehe

I brought my camera recently and took photos of the board.
Although the messages change daily...here are some.

This one cracks me up.

I think I could have been a contender in my pajamas too.

Do you have the Force in your pajamas?

Do you want to staple my pretty technology?

I'll get you, my pretty...and your little cross-function too.

Someone says "I love collaborative strategy in the morning."

I don't know which is more funny...
the sayings people have come up with,
or how others end up editing them.

You seriously need Magnetic Poetry in your workplace.
Or your home.
I'm a HUGE fan.

They have kid kits too.

You know, on Mondays I see napalm too.

Around the corner and down the glen...to Cubicle Land.

As I head to work this morning, listening to NPR, I will be stuck in traffic behind trucks like this:

Imaging what would happen if this driver slammed on his brakes...

My car might be decorated with flowers.

Speaking of decoration...

I'm thinking about re-doing my blog design.

Meanwhile, at work, our boss has challenged us to become creative with our cubicles.

Yes, I live in Cubicle Land.

I have so many big ideas of what to do with mine...
but I'm going to start with something small.

And then change it weekly or so for a while until I find the right fit.

Today, I think I'm going to cover mine in flowers.
Fake flowers.
from Michaels.

Do you guys have any fun, creative, weird or wacky ideas for my cubicle?

Scalene Triangles in the MIddle East need to take a nap.

I wake up around 5am each morning...to get myself and the kids ready for school, to make lunch boxes and prepare backpacks.

I drive the 12 yr old to school.
We talk about life.
I helped quiz him on the Middle East for his Social Studies test today.
In doing so, I realized I never really knew what "OPEC" stood for (the actual letters).
I learned a lot quizzing him.
He knows where all the countries are better than I do.
He's learning the differences between Judaism, Islam and Christianity.
He's learning why everyone's fighting in Israel.

Yesterday I quizzed him for his math test on isosceles triangles & other triangles.
I'd never heard of a scalene triangle before.

Lately I've been enlisting Texas Homeboy to take the 7 yr old to school. So that I can make sure I'm not late to work.

My ten mile commute to work usually takes 30 minutes or so.
I listen to NPR.

At work, I can listen to music on my iPod.
Which is awesome.
I'm not sharing my playlists.

I have an hour for lunch.
Sometimes I work right through it.
Sometimes I go get something to eat in a drive thru.
Sometimes I bring my own lunch and eat in the break room.
I usually read a book while I eat.

Wanna know what I did during my lunch hour yesterday?

Ate lunch? no.
Went shopping? no.
Read a book? no.
Worked? no.

I climbed into the back seat of my SUV.
Cracked the windows.
Set the alarm on my iPod.
And slept.

I wonder if the entire parking lot heard me snoring?
Have you ever napped in a weird place?

How do we have time for it all?

So, I have some posts percolating in the back of my mind. One about my now 12 yr old Donny and his best friend who lives in Austin whom we flew in for the weekend to celebrate Donny's 12th birthday. And how I took them to play paintball. I've got good photos for that. Photos I haven't downloaded yet.

Then I have another post I'm working on in my mind about being a stay at home mom who has suddenly started working full time. And how she's juggling life and dropping balls. If she juggles enough, she'll catch on, right? Practice = skill and improvement, right? RIGHT?!

I seem to still have all the same duties of a stay-at-home mom, even though I've now added on the 40-hour a week job. What's up with that?! lol My kids are being great about it, but I miss spending as much time with them.

That being said, I love my new job. And I hope to learn more and grow with this new company.

But, I miss blogging and visiting everyone's sites, so I will get back to doing that. And exercising my creative side. My wacky side. My weird side?

Update me on your life! What's going on?
